1. The local post office sends a notice to the addressee.
2. The addressee must go to the post office with the notice and his/her Israeli Identity Card or passport.
3. If the parcel was sent "C.O.D", this will be indicated on the notice and the addressee will have to pay the collect C.O.D. charges in cash before receiving the parcel.
4. The parcel is kept at the post office for 14 days from the date the notice was sent.
