Cash deposits at postal branches crediting commercial bank accounts
This service is available at all the online postal units.
For whom is this service intended?
The new service is designed for:
Business owners that have large sums of cash
People who wish to pay advances or execute remote purchases
Private customers located far away from their bank branch
How is the service executed?
As part of this new service, you can visit any one of the online postal units, deposit the cash money and request to transfer it into any bank account in Israel.
The account into which the money is transferred can be the customer’s account or a third party account.
To execute the transfer, the customer is requested to present an ID card.
(To prevent mistakes, it is advisable to bring along a document with the bank account details, such as a check or previous deposit slip).
Crediting of commercial bank accounts will be executed according to the time of execution of the transaction at the postal branch.
Deposits executed until 14:00 will be credited to beneficiary’s bank account on the same business day, while deposits executed later than 14:00 will be credited to beneficiary’s bank account on the next business day.
On Fridays and Holiday eves, deposits for crediting on the same day must be executed before 11:00. |

Cost of a deposit of up to 20,000 NIS – commission of 19 NIS + VAT
Cost of a deposit from 20,001 NIS to 100,000 NIS – commission is 0.13% of the deposited sum + VAT
Cost of deposits for recurring customers executing a second or more deposit, up to 20,000 NIS - commission of 16 NIS + VAT |
