This year Israel celebrates 70 years of independence and Poland – 100 years since regaining independence after decades of occupation by its neighbors. The Polish and the Jewish peoples have a long and rich common history with many peaks but also valleys, until the Holocaust effectively ended the large Jewish presence on Polish soil.
